Personality: What do you call one with dream's that would shake the very foundation of the world? Oh yes, Ambitious. That is the personality of Selena. Her ambitions was the size of the world, and her scheming could rival even that. Even as a little girl, She had desires to rule the kingdom. She was taught the art of war, strategy, and how to achieve her dream. Of course, had had a normal education as well - taught by private tutor's. And thanks to her father's influence over the kingdom she was also trained by some of the best swordsmen there were.
While she loves to have fun, everything she does has it's own goal's in mind. She tends to be social only for the end's, She has the eye's of many powerful men in Methon on her. While at these event's she usually just puts on a false mask and act's like the noblewomen she's supposed to be.

History: Born into a noble family was what one would always wish for, Not Selene. She wanted to rule the nation....the world even. But, that's getting a bit ahead.
Born into the Francis's family she had duty's, Both of her parent's had been very well known and powerful. Their rise to fame was their brilliant mind's - Her father [Arthur] had actually been an captain of numerous ship's all under his command, Even her mother [Angela] had held a powerful position of a warrior at the side of their king. So, There was much in mind when they had Selene - While most would wish for a male to be born, they didn't care what so ever. They taught her as if she was a man, but at the same time everything a proper women should know. She learned how to fight, how to cook, How to overtake her enemies with such speed that it would make even cause shock to the smartest captain the sea's could ever produce, And how to catch the eye's of a potential suitor. Their parent's eye's was actually set on the Prince for her, but they respected her enough to never force anything on her.
When she was about 16 year's old her family was sent out as part as a patrol, But they never returned - presumed dead she was the only heir left of the Francis's name and took control. It left her scared for life. It was this that made her finally see, the kingdom was weak... It depended on a king who would hide himself because the lost of a loved one. He was to weak to lead, and his heir's? Even more pathetic, they were born into it - that did not give them the right to lead.
She set a plan that if discovered, could have her and her family name be marked for traitor's forever. It would destroy it, but she had to. Being who there family was, they still had contact's - powerful one's. She had contacted one of her father's old friend's, making a deal that would change.
After this sort of merger took place, a group of pirate's started to get much more....ballsy. Attacking Methon's trade ships. Even in a few cases, just their military vessal's carrying sensative material.
